William (Bill) K. Martin, age 83, of St. Francisville, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 27, 2025.
He is survived by his children: Robert A. Harden, Kimberly (Micheal) Clarke, Paul (Tabatha) Harden, Michael (Jennifer) Messinger, Jakob Harden, John Harden, and William Ray Harden, Jr. He also leaves behind grandchildren Amber Martin, Kourtney Stevenson, Emily Halco, Paul W. Harden II, and many great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.
A hardworking man throughout his life, Bill spent many years as a long-haul truck driver and logger. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time in the woods. Known for his quick wit and unwavering love for his family, he touched the lives of all who knew him.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no immediate services. Bill’s family will honor his life this fall with a celebration of life in the Shawnee National Forest, a place that held a special place in his heart.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
