Vanessa Kay Berlin, age 64, of Evansville, IN, formerly of Eldorado, IL, went to be with her Lord and her loved ones on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, surrounded by her daughter and nurses from Heart-to-Heart Hospice Inpatient Unit of Evansville.
She was born on February 8, 1961, in Albany, GA to the late Albert “Al” Floyd Lampert and Flora Beth Smith. She married the late Jeffrey Wayne Berlin on June 16, 1979. Vanessa worked as a registered nurse for forty plus years until God called her home.
Vanessa is proceeded in death by her husband, Jeff Berlin, her parents, Albert Lampert and Flora Beth Lampert, her grandmother, Lorene Smith, and her nephew, Robbie Clark.
She is survived by her two sons, Jacob Allyn Berlin of Massachusetts and Jeremy Scott Berlin of Evansville; one daughter, Cassandra Elizabeth Berlin of Evansville; grandchildren Adilynn Grace, Chloe Rayne, Jessey Ivelisse, Carson Wayne, and Colson Eric; sister, Alane (Robert) Clark, one brother, David (Heather Hertel) Lampert; nephew Preston Clark, niece Ashley Smith; great-niece Miah Clark; great-nephew Jaxon Murphy; and aunts, Karen (Roy) Walker and Jane (Rich) Duffner.
Vanessa’s celebration of life will be held at Heart-to-Heart Hospice of Evansville at a later date.
