It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Scott Hogan, who went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on August 12, 1966 in Morganfield, Kentucky and throughout his life he exemplified unwavering faith, love, and kindness.
Scott was a devoted husband and a true servant of God. He was employed at Elite Plumbing. His life was a testament to his Christian values, inspiring those around him with his deeply rooted faith and gentle spirit. He found solace in scripture, often quoting Luke 23:43, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in paradise” reminding us all of the hope and strength that faith provides.
As a member of the Salvation Army church in Henderson, Kentucky, Scott actively participated in various ministries, dedicating countless hours to serving others and sharing the love of Christ. His compassion and generosity touched the lives of many, and his laughter and wise council will be deeply missed.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Daughtery, his father, Dewey Hogan, brothers: Carl and Darrell, sisters: Aileen, Elaine and Tammy, and a grand daughter, Hadleigh Hogan.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife Kay Hogan, sons: Scotty (Taryn) Hogan, Damon (Brittany) Tackett, daughters: Ashley Norris, Ashley Bell, Dallaina Hancock, Breana Hogan, sons that he raised as his own: Ashton Hogan, Adon Hogan, and Alayden Hogan, brothers: Herman Nally and Mike Graham, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. They take comfort in knowing that Scott is in the presence of the Lord. His legacy of faith and love will continue to live on through them.
A Celebration of Scott’s life will take place on Tuesday, June 10th at The Salvation Army at 1:30 in the afternoon with a reception to follow.
Though we mourn the loss of Scott, we rejoice in the promise of eternal faith and assurance that he now rests in the arms of our Savior. His light will continue to shine in our hearts as we carry forward his legacy of love and faith.
