On October, 9th 2022 after a short battle with brain cancer, Stacey L. (McCullough) Underwood, 55, left this earth for her final Home. She was surrounded by family and friends the last weeks of her life at her residence in Evansville, Indiana.
Stacey was born on May 18, 1967, and graduated from Merriam Grade School and Fairfield Community High School in Fairfield, Illinois.
She studied dental assisting at Kaskaskia College in Centrailia, Illinois, and dental hygiene at Lakeland Community College in Mattoon, Illinois.
Stacey had a successful career in Evansville, IN, working at several dental offices and being an educator at Ross Medical Education Center. She was currently the Dental Clinic Office Manager at ECHO Community Healthcare and loved her job and co-workers. Stacey also was very creative and was the owner of Pretty in Pink T’s.
She was a Christian, had the voice of an angel, and often sang during her church services. Her beautiful soul was loved immensely by all that knew her.
Stacey is survived by the love of her life and husband, Bryan Underwood. Twin sons, Zachary (Caitlin) Finke of Mt. Carmel, IL, and Seth Finke of Vincennes, IN, stepson Brock Underwood (Tay) of Evansville, IN, and step daughter Bailey Underwood (Wil) of Glenwood, Iowa. Two adorable grandchildren, Walker Scott Finke and Wrynlee Jo Underwood, her mom Susan (Steve) Cox of Evansville, IN, her dad, Bruce McCullough of Mt. Sterling, IL, brother Lance McCullough of Evansville, IN, and her four legged kids, Roo and Izzy.
She was preceded in death by her little sister Nicole McCullough, grandparents Willard and Ann Wiley and Ray and Betty McCullough, and her in laws, Lee and Marcia Underwood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Howell General Baptist Church on Friday, October 14th 2022 from 10-2.
