
Scott Matthew Cobb, age 40, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away January 26, 2026 at Heart to Heart Hospice.
Scott was born March 22, 1985 in Evansville, Indiana to Stanton Cobb and Sherry (Robinson) Carter. He graduated from Henderson High School and had worked at Mid America Safety Solutions and was a member of the Local Labor Union. Scott had a great zeal for life and was a great friend to many. He loved his family, friends and outdoor activities. Fishing was at the top of his list.
Scott is survived by his father and stepmother, Stanton and Cheryl Ann Cobb; stepfather, Charles (Chuck) Carter; siblings, Brittany Carter, Melissa, Koehler, and Miranda Rahman (Derrick). Andrew Anoskey (Bonnie), George Koehler, John Koehler, Kurt Koehler (Brianna), Robert Carter and aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Scott is proceeded in death by his mother, Sherry Carter; brother, David Cobb; grandparents, Donald and Betty Cobb; and grandparents, Donald and Sharon Robinson.
Cremation services will be handled by Simple Cremations Evansville, 3101 N Green River Rd, Ste 320, Evansville, IN 47715.
