Sandra Sue Osburn (Perry), lovingly known as “Sandi”, was called to heaven on February 7, 2026, in the comfort of her home in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by her closest family members and her beloved pets.
Sandra was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Charles Perry and Penny Perry, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the eldest of 6 siblings and shared her life with eldest brother Chuck (deceased), Mike, only sister Jan, Tom (deceased), and youngest brother Joe (deceased).
She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years of marriage, Chris Osburn; their only child, Kelly Osburn, and his spouse Candace; her beloved grandson, Christopher, his fiance Kayla; and her treasured great-grandson, Otto, who brought her immense joy.
Sandra later moved from Indianapolis to Marion, Indiana, where she formed a lifelong friendship with Shalene, her best friend of 38 years. Together they shared a love of antiques, home décor, and most of all, time spent enjoying family and friends—creating warm, welcoming spaces filled with laughter and love.
Sandra and Chris chose to call Evansville their home 9 years ago to be close to their son Kelly and other family. They settled into a beautiful farmhouse that Sandra carefully and meticulously decorated— as she had a talent for creating a space that looked as if it came from a magazine.
Once settling in Evansville, Sandra built a community through her Church. Sandra was a proud and devout Catholic. Her faith was the foundation in which she walked through life. She remained both an active and dedicated member of the parishes she belonged to throughout different stages of her life. Her faith guided her compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to her family.
Sandra had a loving heart that held space for many people, both inclusive and exclusive of her family. She enjoyed helping others and did anything she could to give to those less fortunate. Sandra’s family and her beloved pets meant everything to her. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family at various holidays and family gatherings. She welcomed others with a warm smile, a soft hug, often times a story or two. Sandra, most importantly never missed an opportunity to remind those that she loved just how much she loved and cherished them. To know Sandra was to love her, but also to be loved by her.
Sandra will be remembered for her loving heart, quiet strength, deep faith, and the way she made everyone feel at home, no matter where they were. She leaves behind a legacy of strong faith, love, family, and friendship that will continue on through generations.
A Mass of Christian Burial in her honor will be held on February 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 704 N. 1st Ave, Evansville IN 47710. The church will open at 12:00p.m. (noon) for friends and family to gather prior to the service.
She is deeply missed and forever loved.
The mass will be live streamed and available to watch free through the church website for those who cannot make the service.
