Ronald “Ronnie” Cooper, age 65, of Mount Vernon, Indiana, passed away on October 12, 2025.
Ronnie was born to the late Mary and Robert Cooper and was also preceded in death by his sister, Debrah Cooper.
He is survived by his wife, Tonja Cooper; his son, Austin Cooper; his stepdaughter, Rita Foster; four step-grandsons; his half-brother, Dale Jr., and Dale’s longtime girlfriend, Amanda; and his nephew, Gary Cooper.
Ronnie worked for many years as a barge laborer. He enjoyed working on classic cars, riding four-wheelers, and spending time with his dogs and cats.
There will be no services.
