
Ronald Georges, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, at the age of 77.
Born on January 20, 1949, in Evansville, Indiana, Ronald was the beloved son of Vincent and Betty Georges. He was a man of great warmth and humor, known for his kindness and unwavering dedication to his family. Throughout his life, Ronald was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew him.
He shared a loving marriage with his devoted wife, Charlet, for 55 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising five children: Chad Georges, Rebeka (Chris) Kaufman, Julie (Roger) Might, Amanda (Patrick) Wood, and Russell Georges. His legacy continues through his 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who were a source of immense pride and joy for Ronald. Ronald is also survived by his siblings Tanya (Charlie) Gries, Victoria (Jeff) Martin, Richard Georges, Ruben Georges, and sister-in-law Jeannie Georges.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Roger, and sister-in-law Karen Georges whom he held dear in his heart.
Ronald’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. He was a pillar of support and a guiding light to his family, instilling in them values of compassion and resilience. His laughter and stories, often shared around the family table, will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
In honoring Ronald’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a gathering at his home on October 17, 2026, at 8633 S SR 57, Elberfeld, Indiana, 47613. This day of remembrance will be a celebration of Ronald’s life, filled with cherished memories and shared stories.
Ronald Georges will forever be remembered for his loving heart and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, inspiring them to lead lives of kindness and love, just as he did.
