
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and proud Marine, Roger Wayland Stuckey of Cannelton, IN, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 65. He was a cherished member of our family and a friend to many. He served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps and was known for his funny disposition, kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering loyalty. He was born on October 2, 1959, in Evansville, Indiana and lived a life filled with his love for movies, fishing, and 4-wheeling. He was a great mechanic and had a deep love for cars.
Roger is survived by his siblings Rosetta (Don) Fiestel of Rockport, IN, Loretta (John) Carter of Poseyville, IN, Fayetta Mitchell of Evansville, IN, Arletta Miller, Evansville, IN, Annetta (Don) Page of Evansville, IN, Tuanetta (Dwight) Bryant of Evansville, IN, Robert (Jackie) Stuckey of Evansville, IN, Rayetta (Edward) Burnett of Evansville, IN, Marcetta (Randy) McCarty of Newburgh, IN, Ronnetta Brown of Evansville, IN. He was predeceased by his loving parents Bobbie J. Stuckey and Loveta M. Stuckey.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held on April 5, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Vann Avenue Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Warrick County Humane Society and The American Heart Association.
Roger will be greatly missed by all including his best friend and companion, Edgar (dog).
