Randall Lynn Rayshell, 51, of Evansville, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 27, 2026. He was born on July 1, 1974, in Dallas, Texas to the late Mischelle (Young) and Edward Rayshell. Randall graduated from Central High School.
Randall and his father previously owned E & S Mobile Wash, and for the past 12 years, he worked at Counter Design, where he took pride in his craft and built lasting friendships with his coworkers.
A true Dallas Cowboys fan, Randall loved spending Sundays watching football with a Busch Light in hand. He will be remembered for his unforgettable “dad jokes”, the familiar scent of Marlboros, and a smile that could light up any room. He found joy in music, bonfires, grilling, and gathering in the garage with friends and family. His sense of humor was one of his greatest gifts – he had a way of making people laugh, even on the hardest days.
Randall is survived by his fiancée, Misty Gray (Dayton Gray); sister, Rachel Murphy; nieces Amanda Murphy (Brandon Outlaw), Meka Murphy, Mia Murphy, and Jackie Labhart; nephew Michael Murphy; great-nephews, Destin, Jakob, Devin, and Kameron; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Terri West, Carol Young, and several others. In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Young.
Randall’s laughter, kindness, and easygoing spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Randall’s life will be held at the Evansville Athletic Club Farm (3143 Schenk Rd, Evansville, IN 47720) on May 23, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Randy,
I was your penpal from Cambria, the one who would send doodles to you and Stu, and you would send me a doodle back. I have all the doodles and notes you guys gave me taped to the wall by my desk. It’s one of my favorite parts of the week.
I heard the news yesterday from our driver and I was heartbroken. I never met you personally but I feel like we were friends for the last two years. I will cherish every doodle you ever gave me.
Thank you so much. I have praying for your loved ones. I send my deepest condolences and greatest love to them during this time.
Kelly Toole "Baby Kelly" says
Oh Randiana. I will miss you calling and asking if I wanted to have coffee with you in the mornings. For those of you who do not know me, I was known to Randy as Baby Kelly. He gained the nickname Randiana when he came down to Texas and stayed with my husband and I a few years back. We always had this bond, that we could go years without seeing each other and pick up like we never missed a day talking. He was a stubborn, hard headed man that felt and loved deeply. To know him and be loved by him was a gift. Amanda Lynn, you were his pride and joy, and the closest thing he ever got to being a parent…except for the dog he found while visiting in Texas that he took home and named Floyd. I will miss him and his giggle when he would call, as I know many of you in his hometown will miss him, too.
