
Paula Charlene Kirk Fox, 81, passed away on December 3, 2025, in Evansville, IN at home, her husband Roger at her side.
Known for her warm, loving, giving, caring, and helpful nature, Paula spent over thirty nine years helping other women recover as a friend of Bill W.
Paula dedicated her career in banking, eventually becoming a successful independent mortgage loan underwriter where she travelled the country from coast to coast. She was able to enjoy her retirement years with her husband and family, traveling for pleasure to many countries.
Paula was a creative soul, passionately engaging in hobbies such as sewing, cross-stitch, quilting, painting, reading, and upholstery. These activities brought great joy to her life, allowing her to express her artistic side and share her creations with and for loved ones.
Paula was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Marcum Kirk Smith.
She is survived by her spouse Roger Fox, and her children, Brian Bullard, Kelley Martin, and Barbie Dorin (Chuck). Grandchildren, Jessica, Ali, Sydney, Ian, Cole, and great grand children, Owen and Emory. A brother Michael Smith (Diane) and their children and grandchildren. Brother in law Douglas Fox (Lorrie) their children and grandchild, sister in law Louise Ann Reinhart (Dave) and their son.
Her family remembers her as a person of love and kindness, whose legacy of caring and support will live on through them.
A service to celebrate Paula’s life will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to charities of the donor’s choice, honoring Paula’s spirit of generosity.
