He was very good at his job and was very proud to have worked on and wired some of our fire trucks and police cars. Andy had two sons whom he loved very very much! He enjoyed working on 4-wheelers with his boys and on Dusty’s mustangs. He also loved to fish and spend time at the creek and Glen O’Jones Lake in Illinois. He is survived by his sons Dustin Moats and Blake Moats of Chandler, In. A brother, David (Alex) Moats. Mother, Sharron Moats of Boonville and cousin’s , Bob and Matt Moats of Columbus, In., along with many nieces and nephews.
Andy had a larger than life voice. He loved to tell jokes to all the kids that hung out with the boys and when he’d have them curious enough he’d let out a belly laugh that could be heard a mile away. He taught a lot of kids some good life lessons and great memories were made!! He will be greatly missed by so many.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date yet TBD.

I remember when Andy & Cara started out as our next door neighbors & became good friends. I remember our camping trip to Glenn O’Jones Lake. We had a lot of fun times. I remember Andy enjoyed teasing Victoria by calling her Stinkitoria, which would make her blush. I also remember that he drove a nice maroon Thunderbird. Just some of the things that I remember. I am so sorry for your loss & praying that God will give you His comfort and peace. Cara, if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to call. Love Always, Jackie 🙏💕❤️
