Michael Layne Hayes age 73, went to be with the Lord March 16, 2025 in Evansville, IN. He was born September 12, 1951, to Floyd Troupe and Georgia Hayes in Lake Charles, LA.
Michael was married to Kirstine Hayes February 19, 2005 in Evergreen, Co.
He was a truck driver for 34 years till he retired from the Coors Brewing Co in 2006.
Michael, a devout follower of Jesus, was also a true Broncos fan, and a comedian by nature. He loved camping with his family in the Rocky Mountains and was an admirer of classic cars who had extensive mechanical knowledge. Michael loved comic books and movies with Superman being his favorite growing up. He would always share his vast knowledge of history with anyone who was around him. All that aside, what will be missed the most by those who knew him was his compassion and love for all his friends and family. He is loved and missed by many.
He is survived by his children; Kymm Lankford, Chandra Goddette, Michael Troupe Hayes, and Damien Hayes, and his stepchildren; Ashlynn Kindschy, Jordan Kindschy, and Brennan Kindschy, also his sister Rose as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Kristine, and siblings Floyd, James, Thomas, Roxanne.
