Mary Jane Raber Hefner, 63, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Lucy King Hospice in Henderson, Kentucky.
Mary Jane was born in Henderson, Kentucky to the late George & Vallie Raber. She was a Christian and member of Cash Creek Baptist Church.
She loved knitting and sewing all kinds of crafts. In her early years, she made civil war reenactment clothing. She loved to talk and work with her cousin, Rhonda Edwards making hats, scarfs, potholders, and many other things in her own style with material that she had on hand.
Survivors are husband, Kenyon Hefner, son, Josh Hefner, granddaughter Alexia Hefner. Sisters – Suzan Close, Barbara Hilyerd, Diana Barker, Karen Raber. Brothers – Tim Raber, James Levi Raber.
Mary was high school graduate with an associate degree from Bressica college in Owensboro, KY. She was self-employed.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lucy King Hospice Care and St Anthony’s Hospice Care the care Mary Jane received in her final days.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at 2 pm at Cash Creek Baptist Church. Family and friends are welcome with a reception to follow the service.
