Margaret Laverne (Sandage) Knight, 83, of Boonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully Wednesday January 28, 2026.
Laverne was born in Evansville on July 13, 1942, to Clyde and Allean Sandage. She was a local beautician for many years and in her spare time enjoyed spending time with family at their River Camp boating and having fish fries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Sandage (Marcella, s.), and daughter Kristy Hoover (Willie).
She is survived by her husband Vernon Knight Jr.; siblings, Tony Sandage (Linda), Dale Sandage (Betty, d.), and Judy Bruder; granddaughter Allie Hoover; and many nieces and nephews.
