Lori Rachele Sartore-Briles, 63, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a deep connection to nature. Born on July 21, 1961, Lori was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose radiant spirit touched everyone she met. A proud graduate of Castle High School’s Class of 1979, Lori lived a life filled with compassion and devotion. She was a loving wife to her husband, Maynard Briles, and a nurturing mother to her son, Steven Black. Her granddaughters, Aaryana and Ava Black, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Lori also shared a special bond with her older sister, Lisa Wolfe, younger brother, Steve Sartore, and her nephews, Noah, Abram, Jonah, and Sam Sartore. Lori was pre-deceased by her mother, Barbara Faye Jones-Russell and her father, Raymond Sartore. Lori’s heart overflowed with love for all creatures, especially dogs and cats, and she found joy in the beauty of the natural world. Her gentle, caring nature and unwavering devotion to her family and animals made her a truly beautiful soul. Lori will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth, grace, and the love she shared so freely. A private memorial will be held by her family to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a local animal shelter in Lori’s memory.
