Linda Kay Bachman, 80, of Heritage Woods of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026.
Born on January 16, 1946, Linda was the beloved daughter of Jessie Carl Bachman and Pauline (Lichtenberger) Bachman. She lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Linda found joy in spending time with loved ones, sharing stories, creating lasting memories, and offering comfort and encouragement to those around her. She was known for her generosity, strength, and ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her love, friendship, and devotion to family will remain cherished by all who knew her.
Linda’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her only son, Jeffrey Allen Mackey; her daughter-in-law, Marianna Alexander Mackey; and her three beloved grandchildren, Olivia Mackey, Charlie Mackey, and Henry Mackey. She also leaves behind many dear relatives and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Carl Bachman and Pauline (Lichtenberger) Bachman.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and staff of Heritage Woods of Newburgh for their compassionate care, kindness, and support. They would also like to express their sincere appreciation to Heart to Heart Hospice of Evansville for the comfort, dignity, and compassionate care provided to Linda and her family during her final days.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and grace that will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
