Larry A. Calvert was born in Evansville, IN on August 27, 1955, and departed this earth to be with his Lord on February 16, 2025.
Larry chose the USAF to proudly serve his country for four years. Upon discharge he returned to his hometown and was employed with Sterling Brewing Company until they closed. Larry loved spending time with family and enjoyed bowling on leagues for many years.
He was an avid gardener, and quite competitive with others as to who could grow the biggest tomato. Larry had a wonderful sense of humor and love of his cats – Miss Kitty, Blueberry and most recently Panthera.
Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents Charles and Clara Calvert and infant brother Robert Frederick.
He is survived by his brother Richard Calvert; sisters Angela (Drew) Rupprecht and Elizabeth (Jack) Hatcher; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and dear cousin Joi Tompkins (Bill) from Massachusetts.
Private burial and family remembrance will be held at a later time.
