
Kari Jean Grisham,59, of Evansville, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2025, at the Linda White hospice house surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 29, 1965, in Faribault, MN to the late Charles and Darla Darnell (Srock).
Kari was an amazing wife, momma, and Mimi. She devoted her life to her family. She moved mountains to make sure they always had what they needed. She was an avid Vikings fan and on Sundays, you could always catch her watching football with a jack on the rocks, smoking her Pall Malls. She loved her slots, bingo, and fishing. She always looked forward to her weekly date at Golden Corral with her loving husband of 39 years, Patrick. Kari loved everyone she met fiercely with her whole heart. She leaves a hole in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Kari is survived by her husband of 39 years, Patrick; her children Brittney (Radd) Skelton, Patrick (Elizabeth) Grisham, and Adam Autry; bonus daughters, Sarah (Paul) Cross and Chasity (Ricky) Kemper; her grandchildren Boston Grisham, Whitney Grisham, Brogan Grisham, Bexley Grisham, Caden (Alysha) Skelton, Hunter (Natalie) Skelton, Zeke Autry, and Levi Autry; Brothers and sisters, Michel Ann (Chuck) Crawford, Kathi (Briane) Moore, Kristi Darnell, Glenn (Teresa) Grisham, Pearlie Grisham, Rita Sigler, Sammy Grisham, Gloria Peek, Rick Fulton, and Linda Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, bonus mom, Anita Darnell, father and mother-in-law Peter and Anna Grisham, nephew Brandon Grisham, sister-in-law, Dottie Fulton.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care team and the staff members on 6E at St. Vincent for the compassion you had when caring for not just Kari, but the family.
The family would like to thank the staff members at Davita from the bottom of their heart for everything they did for Kari. Without your compassion, Kari wouldn’t have made it this far! She loved each and every one of you!!
A celebration of life will be held at Burdette Park’s Clubhouse on February 16, 2025. Fishing starts at 11am, but the party starts at 1pm. Come dressed as you are, and ready to celebrate the life of the greatest woman that has ever lived!!
