Joyce (Watkins) Noelle passed from this life on December 18, 2025. She lived a full and meaningful 71 years.
Joyce was the loving mother of Nathan Ludwig and Courtney (Matt) Hall. Throughout her life, she was known for her many passions, including bringing smiles to others through her beautifully handmade cards, volunteering with the food bank, and being a fiercely loyal friend to many.
Joyce is survived by both her children; her sister, Brenda (Dave) Wilkerson of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her grandchildren Carmen, Jadon, Kenton, Kyle, Natalie, and Michael. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as her companion and support, Tony Noelle.
She worked with the Evansville Police Department for a time and then spent many years working as part of the security team at the University of Southern Indiana where she retired. She was a dedicated presence earning several commendations for her service while with the University of Southern Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Dauphin, her parents, Nola Ruth Watkins and Owen Watkins, and her nephew Jon Paul Arvin.
As Joyce requested, there will be no public memorial service, but her family asks that you remember her as she was alive and well.
