John Charles Bircher of Evansville, Indiana, passed away March 5, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
John was born July 29th,1958 to Don Charles and Joyce Ann (Norman) Bircher.
Growing up in the country with three siblings and numerous pets and friends made for a fun-filled childhood. Playing at country grandpa and grandmas and city grandmas just added to the fun.
In 1963 the family moved to the west side of Evansville and joined Trinity Lutheran Church and school. John loved playing drums with friends and in the Reitz High School marching band before he graduated in 1976. He enjoyed drafting and woodworking and working in the mill room for lumber companies. He loved his dog Buster and cat Socks.
John is survived by two sisters, Lynne Belcher (Tom), Louise Winternheimer (Jim) and five nieces and nephews: Karen, David, Sam, Amanda, and Sarah.
John was preceded in death by his father, Don Charles Bircher, mother, Joyce Ann (Norman) Bircher, and brother, David Bircher.
