Jimmy Albert Stone, 66, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, with all of his children by his side. He was born on June 22, 1959, in Dixon, Kentucky.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Serrano; his father, Jimmy W. Stone.; his brother, Jesse Stone; and his son, Thomas Stone.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Charlie (Logan) Stone of Vincennes, Casey (Travis) Mayes of Robards, and Jami (John) Wilkerson of Newburgh; six cherished grandchildren; his brothers, Rick, Sandy, and Daniel Stone; his sisters, Diane Pirtle, Mercedes Suggs, and Lisa Stone; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Jimmy proudly served his country as a First Airborne Army Ranger and carried that same spirit of dedication and service throughout his life. A man of strong faith who loved the Lord deeply, he devoted himself to helping others through previous mission work, including helping build an orphanage in the Philippines and participating in numerous other mission trips. Above all else, Jimmy treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Jimmy will be remembered for his generous heart, unwavering faith, servant’s spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy of compassion, strength, and devotion to family and God will live on in all who knew and loved him.
