
Jerry M. Williams, 74, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on July 11, 2026. He was born on March 20, 1952.
Jerry was a respected jeweler who proudly owned and operated Williams Jewelers for many years. He was known for his dedication to his craft and the relationships he built with his customers and community.
Outside of work, Jerry found joy in gardening, raising tropical fish, and staying active by working out. He loved spending time watching classic westerns and listening to rock and roll music. Most of all, Jerry cherished his family and the time he shared with those he loved.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Williams II and Gwendolen Williams (Wright); his Uncle Jerry; and his brothers, Mark Williams, Charles Williams, and Daniel Williams III.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Elizabeth “Charlie” Williams; his sister, Vicki Jones; his daughter, Trudy Ramsey (Harry); his son, Robert King (Angie); his grandchildren, Jeff, Brittney, Zachary, Jorden, and Robert; his great-grandchildren, Jaylynn, Kyle, Evan, Brayden, and Brylynn; his great-great-grandsons, Clay and Jaimyn; his nieces, Frances, Anna Lisa Niedholdt; his nephews Daniel A Williams lV, Jarrod Williams and his two beloved fur babies.
Jerry will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of family, and the many lives he touched throughout his years. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Riverbend Nursing Home and Heritage Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided to Jerry and his loved ones during his final days. Their dedication and compassion will always be deeply appreciated.
