
Jeffery Jay Berry, of Daviess County Indiana age 52 has passed away with family at his side on Thursday, September 25th 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville Indiana. Jeffery Berry as known as “Jay” is survived by his mother Sharon Berry (Cox); Father Johnny Berry ; his son Cameron Berry:2 Step brother Joshua (Jennifer) Keller; brother Travis (Jessica) Clements; 1 step sister Christina Clements; 1 half-sister Heaven (Harold Ivy) Berry; Aunt Mary Evans and several nieces, nephews ,cousins and very close friends .He had one dog named Harley .He is preceded in death by 1 sister Tina Cox and his Grandparents Kenneth and Essie Cox ; Noah and Corrine Berry. Jay was born in Greene County but moved to Washington Indiana where he had attended Washington Elementary and Washington Junior High School.
Jay was a very outgoing man that loved the outdoors. Jay loved to spend time with his mom, son and family.
He enjoyed going to cookouts, bonfires and just hanging out with family and friends. Also in his spare time he would love to ride his Honda four-wheeler that he named “sara Lee”, he absolutely loved to go mudding as well. He also attended Maysville United Methodist Church on Sundays, a big thank you to Pastor Jason Johnston for his spiritual words that have helped him through his spiritual life.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Evansville Gateway Hospital for the great care that was given to Jeffery “Jay” Berry.
There will be a Celebration of life announced at a later date.

My condolences to the friends and family of Jay’s. He was my life long best friend. We grew up living right next door to each other most of our lives. I can not believe he is gone. I will never forget all the fun times we had.
