Janice Sue Jackson, of Evansville In., left this Earth to be with her Lord and Savior, on July 31, 2026. Janice was born to Robert and Katherine White, on November 26, 1954. Janice attended Central High School and later obtained her G.E.D.
Janice had a love for Horses, Western movies and Butterflies. Janice was an avid Harley motorcycle rider and loved working on them and hotrods, anytime she could in her youth.
Janice worked for many years at Whirlpool, later to move onto Hudson Valley Tree and finally 16 years at Guardian Automotive before retirement. Janice’s free time was spent loving her dogs, Lucy and Bane and of course spoiling her grandchildren, Gavin and Garett, they were her pride and joy. Janice was the proud mother of her two boys, James and Harold Sweeney.
Janice was preceded in death by her father, Robert White, sister, Paula Gossar, and her beloved dog Lucy.
Janice is survived by her mother, Katherine White (Conner), sister Vicky Smith (White), sons, James Sweeney and Harold (Katherine) Sweeney, grandsons Gavin and Garett Sweeney, Niece Dwan (Shane) Shiver, nephew, Seth (Shannon) Gossar, Brother-in-law Gary (Paula) Gossar, beloved dog Bane.
The family of Janice will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
