Eva Joyce Elder of Evansville, IN. passed away on Tuesday August 11, 2026, at River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility at the age of 86. She was born in Evansville on March 30, 1940, to Carlos and Carla Watson.
Eva was a Homemaker.
Eva was a member of VFW Post 1114 Auxiliary, she enjoyed crocheting, needlepointing, working crossword puzzles in the daily newspaper, working in her yard, feeding the birds and wildlife and spending time with her family. Taking care of the small cemetery on Roth Rd for many years.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents; Husband, Roy W Elder, her 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by sons, Roy Elder, JR (Amy) and Everett (Bub) Elder, daughter, Eve(Sis) Isabell (Sam),
Grandchildren; Wendy Jones(Joey), Sam Isabell, IV and Sarah Lamberson (Lester);
Great-Grandchildren: Dayton Jones, Bryce Jones, Kennedy Happe. Kimbra, Hannah and Gideon Lamberson.
The family would like to thank Heritage Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
In keeping with Eva’s wishes, she will be cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
