Donna Kay Barnett, 78 of Chandler Indiana was born to Charles and Mabel Britt on April 24, 1947, and gained her angel wings on July 3, 2025. Donna was a long-time resident of Boonville where she raised her family, had a large extended family and many friends. Donna was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals for holidays and family get togethers. She loved shopping and driving the county roads, listening to county music with her grandkids. Donna always enjoyed her trips to Arizona to visit her sister and family which spanned over five decades. Donna had a special presence always dressing in bright cheerful colors with lots of bling. She was fun, full of adventure and love for her family and friends. One of Donna’s greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her sons, Scott Barnett and James Barnett (Susan) both of Boonville, her daughter in law Lisa Barnett of Evansville, her brother Charles “Bobby” (Sherry) Britt of Boonville and her grandchildren Kasey Barnett, Kaitlyn Barnett, Chris Kixmiller, Danielle (Shaun) McCoy, Eric (Lauren) Kixmiller, Blake Barnett, Logan (Katie) Barnett, Dylan (Darien) Barnett, Issac (Hannah) Barnett and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephew and her faithful dog Copper.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mabel Britt, her sons Tim Barnett and Billie Barnett II both of Boonville and her sisters Judy Tuley of Marana, Arizona, and Peggy Ingram of Boonville.
Donna will greatly missed but as she always said, “When the day comes, we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.”

She did love to shop and took first 2 of her grandsons then the girls. She did everything she could for those grandkids and was always there to watch them. At Logan’s wedding she wowed my nephew even though she was 50 yrs older:) a very nice lady
