
Diana Lynn Ebernickle, lovingly known as Little Lynn, age 59, of Drakesboro, Kentucky, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born on September 5, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jerry Wayne Hope and the late M. Sue Hope.
Diana was a devoted homemaker who found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She loved cooking for those she cared about, playing games of Yahtzee with family and friends, and watching her favorite show, General Hospital. Above all, Diana cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones — her family was the heart of her world.
She is survived by her father, Jerry Wayne Hope, and stepmother, Anna Lou Hope; her children, Izabella Taylor, Kathrine Ebernickle (Heidi Henson), Jacob Earl, and Justin Earl; her grandchildren, Blayne Smith, Safari Ebernickle, and Kayden Ebernickle; her siblings, Kimberly (Robert) Wallace, Karen Rittenberry (Greg Berry), and Tracy (James) Asher. Diana also leaves behind her nieces; Stacie Stuart, Kristine Rittenberry, Alexis Asher and nephew Justin Asher.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, M. Sue Hope, and her brother, Jerry Wayne Hope (Wayne).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Nov 3, 2025 from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Beechmont Community Center, 3612 Merle Travis Highway, Beechmont, KY 42323. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories in honor of Diana’s life, love, and laughter.
Diana will be remembered for her quick wittiness, warm heart, beautiful smile, and the way she made everyone feel at home. Her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
