I’m so sorry for your loss, Morgan. I have so many fun memories of Greg from all the time I spent at your house growing up. One of my absolute favorites is when we were watching Blue Streak—Morgan and I were sitting on the floor in Greg and Annette’s bedroom, and they were sitting in bed. When the “Freaky Jason” scene came on (here’s a link to the scene https://youtu.be/fCD9xDq8xvo) Greg was laughing so hard he had tears in his eyes. All of us were dying laughing. We rewatched the scene probably 5 times laughing harder every time. After that, he wasn’t Greg anymore—he was “Freaky D” forever. It’s one of the moments that still makes me laugh and smile. RIP Freaky D — thanks for all the laughs and memories.

I just heard of Greg’s passing. I’m so sorry to hear of this. Greg was best friends since childhood with the smiddy family .. Reagan and Brian especially. My mom and dad considered him a son as well. He was as a brother to me. When my brothers got in trouble with my daddy… he did too🤣🤣. He will be so missed.

Re introduced in the 90s through his wife, Annette.
My wife and Greg and Annette and another couple went on a boat ride for a weekend at Cumberland Lake.
Didn’t see him again until 4 years ago when he was going through a divorce.
Got together through Facebook and had his infamous tacos on several occasions, a little scotch.
