David (Dave) Pennell, born in October 1953, passed away on June 23, 2025. A lifelong mechanic with a deep love for fast cars, David could often be found under a hood or behind the wheel. He had a passion for drag racing and hunting, and he carried a sharp sense of humor and a famously stubborn streak — right to the very end.
Though life took its turns and our paths didn’t always align, David leaves behind his eldest daughter Andrea Pennell and youngest daughter Krista Pennell, along with Krista’s four children. He is also remembered by his siblings, extended family, and those whose lives crossed his in big and small ways.
His legacy lives on in every laugh shared, every engine running, and every moment of determination that defined him.
He will be remembered, in all his grit and glory.
