
Darrell Wayne Watson Sr, 57 of Chandler, IN peacefully passed away after a long hard battle with cancer Monday 5, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born on October 15, 1967, to the late Nathan and Claudine Watson.
Darrell always loved fishing, wood working, doing models, and making trips to his all time favorite place Gatlinburg, TN. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Darrell was always the life of a party, and loved cracking jokes. He was the most loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, and a true friend to everyone. Darrell loved working as a Senior team Lead of Logistics at Vuteq, and loved the people he worked with. Darrell never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
Darrell was survived by his wife of 25 years, Misty (James) Watson; son Darrell Watson Jr (Courtney) of Boonville, IN; daughters Candace Watson (Bailey) and Kassandra Watson of Chandler, IN; four grandchildren Haley, Keagon, Chloe and Kamdyn (Tator) and two grand dogs Rosie and Groot; brothers Richard Watson (Jenny) of Evansville, IN and Brian Watson of Newburgh, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
Darrell is preceded in death by parents Nathan and Claudine Watson, and sister Angela Watson.
Darrell had one last message to all of his kids and grand kids “Follow your Heart.”
