We mourn the departure of Christopher Mays, who left us too soon on February 6, 2025, born on March 17, 1967. Known for his warm, loving, giving, caring and strong personality, he left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His life echoed the lessons he stood by, to always show respect to the older generation, and he lived this truth through his daily actions.
Chris had a deep love for Classic rock, and could often be found fishing or working on cars during his free time. Among his many achievements, he took great pride in fixing his own truck and meeting his beloved partner, Krista Ferguson. Despite his imperfections, Chris made a significant positive impact on those around him that will be cherished forever.
Christopher is survived by his partner, Krista Ferguson, his son, Damon Ferguson and his partner Katy and daughter, Kortny Murrell and her husband Bryan Murrell . He also leaves five grandchildren Scarlett , Thomas , Nic, Emma , and Aniyah He is also survived by other family members.
As we say goodbye, we honor the legacy of Christopher Mays, whose life was a testament of love and strength. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memories will forever be etched in our hearts. May he rest in peace and love.

It’s still so hard to believe Chris/ my neighbor is gone. My deepest sympathy to Krista and all his family and friends. I’ll miss seeing him across the street working on his truck.
