Christopher Alan Carver Jr., Owensville, IN, age 45, went to be with the Lord, early on the morning of May 1, 2025, after a long battle with brain cancer. He fought very hard and kept his sense of humor through it all.
Christopher was born on June 7, 1979 to Laura Lee and Christopher Alan Carver Sr., in Beech Grove, IN.
Christopher earned two associates degrees, one from Vincennes University majoring in Natural Resources and one from Ivy Tech Bloomington majoring in Software Development. He worked for many years as a cartographer making maps for the Department of Transportation, the Department of Natural Resources and Everstream a fiber internet company.
Christopher loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He enjoyed woodworking and doing crafts with his wife, Amber. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Blackhawks. Christopher loved making others laugh, and he was very good at it. He was a very devoted and loving husband and father, always putting their needs above his own.
Christopher is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Amber Carver, a daughter, Hadley Carver and two sons, Liam Carver and Nox Carver, his father Christopher Carver Sr. and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Laura Carver, a sister Leah Haskins and six of his children gone to soon.
No formal services will be held, his ashes will be spread during a private committal in his favorite spot in Brown County IN, that he always called home.
