
Bill Fithian, 86, of Fort Branch, passed away on June 2, 2025, at his daughter Tonya’s home.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force and later retired as an over-the-road truck driver.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Ann Fithian; his son, Tim Fithian; granddaughters, Felicia Racine and Jennifer Clem; grandson, Craig Mobley; sister, Sue; and brothers, Fred and Eugene.
He is survived by his children: Tracy Fithian, Troy Fithian, Tonya (Scott) Michael of Fort Branch, and Tresa Stevens of Owensville. Bill spent his retirement years helping Tonya raise his grandchildren, Gavin and Ambreah TenBarge. He is also survived by grandchildren Tera and Zack Fithian, Brea Clem Hepler, Jeremy White, Josh Alvey, and Shania (Rylan) Szudy, along with 14 great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by a sister, Marilyn Hunt of Jasper and a brother, David of Owensville.
The family will hold a private celebration of life in Bill’s honor.

Bill will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his generous, loving spirit.
