Beverly Gayle (Clemons) Warlick, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior on 02/13/2025 while surrounded by her loved ones in prayer.
Beverly was born on November 6th, 1957. She was affectionately known as “B” ,”Aunt B”, “Nana”, and “The Bev G”, to so many friends and children she welcomed into her life. A doting mother, most passionate about her own two children, she was a second mother to those that needed one and gave herself to everyone without hesitation. Whether babysitting, planting flowers, sewing, cooking (where no recipe was ever the same twice), or making care packages children in need through the church, her contagious smile and laugh would brighten any room. She saw the good in everyone and firmly believed people deserved second chances. She loved unconditionally. Her love for the smallest of things was best displayed by her collection of trinkets, angels, and anything with a bee or mouse.
She was always a fan favorite and never met a stranger. Always available to gossip with neighbors, or on the phone, she was the keeper of funny stories and a joke or two. She could make friends anywhere she went, whether it was the grocery store or even the doctor’s office. She always kept the nurses on their toes and elicited laughter even as she fought through her own pain. Beverly will leave behind a story of love, hope, and compassion, one that her family hopes will live on with all the stories she left in the hearts of those she touched.
Beverly was preceded in death by her mother (Jackie) and two brothers (Larry and Brock). She is survived by her father (Ed), loving husband of 45 years (Mike), sister (Julie Pugh), adoring children (Stephanie Georges, Jonathan Warlick), grandchildren (Logan, Luke, and Madelyn) who will miss her dearly and never forget the love, laughter, and light she brought to their lives.
A celebration of life will be held at Howell General Baptist Church Family Life Center on Saturday, March 8th at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Riley Children’s Hospital, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, or the Ronald McDonald House of Evansville so that her legacy of loving and caring for children can live on.
