Bettye Rae Barton, 85, of Elberfeld, IN passed away on June 21, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. Bettye was born on November 8, 1940 to Martin and Katherine (Fiestel) Schultz.
Bettye was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. She liked riding motorcycles, visiting Florida, and loved turtles. Bettye enjoyed video taping drag races, dirt track races, and the great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bettye is preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Katie Schultz; brother, Gary Schultz; and son, Curtis Barton.
She is survived by her husband, Fuzzy Bartow; daughter, Tami Foster (Barton); brother, Daryl Schultz; grandchildren, Jodi Foster (Mullen), Kyle Foster; great-grandchildren, Brooks Mullen, Delanie Mullen, Ryder Foster, Carter Foster.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
