Barbara Elizabeth (Ingle) Robbins, born on August 6th, 1938, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025, at the age of 87.
Barb was a devoted mother and grandmother that cherished her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing, skating, and camping. She was also a loving caregiver, dedicating many years to babysitting several children. In her golden years, she could often be found watching game shows and Hallmark movies. She had a committed faith in Jesus and looked forward to Heaven. Her final moments were surrounded by her family.
Barb is preceded in death by her son Rick Hempfling and parents Gaylord Ingle and Estella Mae McMahan. Also preceding her are siblings Kenny (Sis) Ingle, Pat (Marvin) Brinksneader, Freida (Donnie) Bolin, and Beverly McMahan.
She is survived by her children Becky (Roger Russell) Holpp, Nick Hempfling, Kevin (Roberta) Hempfling, and daughters-in-law Darla Hempfling and Toni Bender; grandchildren Robbi (Jason) Cade, Lyndsay Hempfling, Jennifer (Matt) Esarey, Jessie (Eric) Alvey, Amy (Matt) Sims, Megan Hempfling, Kate (Jeff) Tomlin, Lane (Vanessa) Hempfling, Tristan (Kaleigh) Hempfling, and several great-grandchildren; siblings Debbie Ward, Billy (Judy) McMahan, and Trudy (Oliver) Berry..
Barb asked for no funeral services, but donations can be made to Rivers Edge Animal Shelter Perry County, Indiana to honor the love that she had for her fur babies, Maddie and Mia.
