
Barbara Clem, 67, of Evansville, Indiana peacefully passed away on May 22, 2025, at Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born on September 1, 1957, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Adell and Jaunita Sorrels.
Barbara was always busy, from working at the Spag Shop for 3 years, working at T.J. Maxx for 12 years, to mopping the floors at Buckner Towers. She was a resident at Buckner Towers and made many friends. She loved animals, including her birds, collecting Coca-Cola items, and angels.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Clem; her son, George; her parents James and Juanita Sorrels; and her brother James aka Bobby.
Barbara is survived by her son, Richard; a granddaughter; her cousin, who was more like a sister, Sandy, her husband Rick, and their children Jason, Ryan, Mandy, and Ricky (along with their children).
The family would like to thank her friends, Angie, Dianna, and Monica, her caregiver.
As a family, we are glad she is at peace now from her COPD and lung disease. We love you Barbara.
