Aimee Lee Gidcumb, 51, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

Born on July 18, 1974, in Mt. Carmel, Aimee was the beloved daughter of Stephen Gidcumb and Melissa Gidcumb. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Aimee is survived by her children:

• Abigail and her husband Eliu Maneiro of Evansville, IN
• Mary and her husband William Carsey of Mt. Carmel, IL
• Jessika and her husband Andrew McGowan of Princeton, IN

She was a cherished grandmother to Sophia, Aaron, Isabella, Demetri, Amaya, Emerson, River and Ryder. Also surviving are her siblings, Shawn Matthew Gidcumb and Tara Goodwin; her aunt Tammy and husband Michael Brown; uncles Mike and Alisa

Gidcumb; Jim and Becky Gidcumb; Great aunt Ruth dick; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her dearly.

Also remembering Aimee, cousin by blood, sister by heart Amanda Robb and her husband Christopher along with their children Emily, Peyton and Brandon. 

Aimee was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Gidcumb and Melissa Fitzgerald; her paternal grandparents, Fred and Mary Belle Gidcumb; maternal grandmother, Maxine Grimwood; and her aunt, Karen R. Ridgley.

Aimee will be remembered for her loving heart, her dedication to her family, and the joy she brought into the lives of others.
