Jacob Michael Gomez, age 42, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2026, in Evansville, Indiana. Born on March 1, 1984, to Mike Gomez and Nelda Davis. He worked out of Local 136 in Evansville as a pipe fitter.
Music was his trusted passion and a dedicated guitarist. His playing brought warmth, and comfort and joy to everyone fortunate enough to listen.
Beyond music Jacob will be remembered for his smile, gentle heart, his creative spirit and the lasting impressions he left on his friends and community.
He is survived by his loving wife Tiffany (Gehl) Gomez. His father and stepmother Mike Gomez and Sharon Werne. His stepfather Brent Davies, also by his sister and brother-in-law Nic and Angela Nu’uvali. His children Kendal. Marey, and Vincent Gomez. His stepson, Trenton Montgomery. Step grandchild, Granger Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by Michael and Levi Gomez as well as his mother Nelda Davis.
No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life may be held at a later date.
