
Martha (Marty) Ann Adcock Hollander 69, born Feb. 20, 1957, passed away on July 10, 2026, in her sleep, surrounded by her Husband and Son. After a two-and-a-half-year battle against CIDP, a painful neurological disorder.
She was born in Lafayette IN, Feb. 20, 1957, to James E. and Marcia A. (Carter) Adcock.
She graduated from Central High School in 1975. Graduated from Paducah Community College a UK extension with an associates in nursing as a RN. She worked for both Deaconess and St Mary’s Hospital where she became a licensed chemotherapy nurse. She also worked at St. Mary’s at Home, administering chemo for patients in their homes. She continued her career as an administrator at several home health agencies. After she retired, she opened the Evansville Consignment and Floral Design Shop on N. Wabash Ave of Flags.
She enjoyed traveling. Having traveled about half the 48 states, Europe, most of the Caribbean, and the South Pacific. She loved fishing, gardening, canning, cooking, crafting and arranging flowers fresh or artificial! When you visited, she always had a little ditty for you to take home, a jar of jam, muffins, an arrangement.
She is survived by Her husband of 49 years Kent Hollander, daughter Katherine N. Worman (John), and son Matthew J. Hollander, Brothers and Sister-in-Law Keith and Sharon Hollander and George A. Hollander.
