Jeffrey Lynn Seiferd, 74, of Lamar, Indiana, passed away on May 23, 2026, after a brief illness and a long battle with COPD.
Born on August 26, 1951, in Mount Hope, Pennsylvania, Jeff was the son of George and Dorothy Seiferd. He attended and graduated from Harristown Junior College.
Jeff devoted 36 years of his professional life to DMI Furniture, His career eventually brought him from Pennsylvania to Indiana. Beyond his work, Jeff found his greatest joy in his family, especially his grandchildren, and he took great pride in keeping an immaculately maintained lawn.
Jeff is survived by his father, George Seiferd; his wife of 45 years, Cami Seiferd; his son, Brent Seiferd, and daughter-in-law, Lara Seiferd; his daughter, Bree Dohoney, and son-in-law, Cody Dohoney; his grandchildren, Marly, Adelin, John, Averiana, and Helen; and his siblings, Brenda, Sandy, Rod, and Lori. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Dorothy Seiferd.
A private family gathering will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Jeff’s name to the Fountaindale Volunteer Fire Department.
