Linda Kay (Baughn) Knott, 55, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on May 13, 2026, at St. Anthony’s Hospice of Henderson, KY. Born on March 18, 1971, in Evansville, Linda spent her life rooted in the community she loved.
She had a big heart and an unmatched presence. She would do anything for anybody and knew how to make people laugh. Linda never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone and know their life story before ending the conversation. She had a deep love for her dog Rocco, dolphins, and Polar Pops – you would not see her without a Polar Pop. The smallest of things would make her happy. Everyone that knew Linda loved her.
Linda is survived by her son, who she loved so very much, Dylan Knott (fiancé Angela); father James R. Baughn; siblings Mark Baughn, Sr. (Ginny), Lana Lowery, Rick Baughn (Von), Shannon Miller (Kevin), Berry Stone, and Tony Baughn; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who will all remember her fondly. Her love and memories will remain a lasting gift to all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Jaques, and brothers John Baughn and James “JB” Baughn.
No funeral services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial donations to St. Anthony’s Hospice of Henderson or your local animal shelter in honor of Linda Knott.
