Kerry Joseph Hopf, 61, of Otwell, IN, passed away April 12, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 28, 1964 to Kenneth and Rosemary Hopf.
Kerry is survived by his daughters, Rachel (Bruce) Whitehead, Ariel (Shaine) Eck, Sarah Hopf, Micah Hopf and Rebekah (Ryan) Nicholson, his grandchildren, Kole, Blakely, Vander, Homer and Hudson. He is also survived by his siblings David (Teresa) Hopf, Brenda (Philip) Kern, Connie Goebel, Roger (Tracy) Hopf, Sharon Fort, Patti (Richard) Schwartz; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Kerry was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Rosemary Hopf, and his niece, Payton Hopf.
Kerry worked as a coal miner for many years and was known for his strong work ethic. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening, fishing and spending time outdoors.
In accordance with Kerry’s wishes, no visitation or funeral services will be held. A Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, IN on Saturday, May 2 at 8:00am.
