Dawn L. Kimmell, also known to her family and friends as Tuffy, passed away on April 15, 2026, at Midtown Hospice Care in Evansville, Indiana. Born on April 18, 1962, in Henderson, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Virginia Kurtz.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Kimmell, her two sons, Derek Kurtz and Eric Kimmell (Lindsey), one grandchild, Kyla Kurtz, and three great-grandchildren, Amara, Everen, and Emerson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Faith Logsdon, daughter-in-law, Stacy Kurtz, and mother-in-law, Jenny Kimmell.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Ouabache Trails Park, Vincennes, Indiana.
