Adam Douglas Knight, son of Douglas and Patricia Knight born November 18th, 1977 went to be with the Lord on April 11th, 2026.
Through his 48 year journey of life, Adam left a legacy of resilience, boundless enthusiasm and love. Adam was known for his playful jokes he could crack at any second in any situation, the ability to light up a room and make anyone feel like they were family and welcome, and the way he loved so many so dearly. Adam dedicated his time being a loving son and brother, a supportive and loving father, uncle, grandfather, friend and mentor. Adam devoted his time to many commitments and adventures over the years from his time spent in the Army for the National Guard to his time spent as a local West Side Nut Club member. In addition to his grandparents, Warner and Virginia Knight along with Charles and Beulah Mayes.
Adam is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Knight.
Adam is survived by his father Douglas (and Melissa) Knight, his children Kendall Knight, Tori Knight, Troy (and Laisha) Knight, and Serenity Knight. Granddaughter Xylah, His sisters Kristin and Lori Knight, brother Nick Knight along with his nieces and nephews Killian (And Danielle), Sam, Orion, Aurora, MacKenzie (and Kaylee), Hannah (and Abe), Cameron, Eli (and Desarea), Avery, Theo, Patrick, Gehrig, Grace, Clara and Abby. His uncles Dan and Dennis (and Evelyn) Knight and his cousins Rayna, Tony (and Kerrie), and Matthew Knight and numerous beloved family members.
There will be a celebration of life service held for Adam on April 26th, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm held at The Commons at 315 N Main St. Evansville, IN 47711. Memorial contributions can be made to the family at https://gofund.me/976d3258d
