Anthony “Tony” Dean Clark, 68, of Richland Indiana passed away on February 25th, 2026, in the peace of his own home.
Tony was born on December 20, 1957, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Joe and Juanita Clark. He was a devoted father, papaw, and retired Teamster of Local 215, with more than 30 years of dedicated service.
He earned multiple awards for his delicious barbecue across the states. Tony enjoyed his golden retrievers, old tractors, and was always cooking for the people he cared about.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Juanita Clark, and his brother, Steve Clark.
Tony is survived by his two sons, Brandon (Lyndsay) and Derek “Peot” Clark; his brothers, Donald (Krista) and Larry Clark; and his grandchildren, Alexis Ford (Derek Alvey), Trinity Hagan, Hadlee Clark, Briar Clark, and Maxwell Clark.
He also leaves behind his beloved “sidekick,” Bailey, his golden retriever, and an honorable mention to his best friend John Cameron, his “brother from another mother.”
Per Tony’s request, he did not want any services held within a funeral home. We will keep it plain and simple, just as he was, by hosting a “Celebration of Life” on May 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Shiloh Community Church at 3625 West Eureka Road in Rockport, Indiana, in the area he grew up. Please feel free to join us as we celebrate by serving “Tony’s KY style BBQ” and share stories of the memories he left with us.
“How lucky we are to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard”
