Chuck Sutton, age 61 left this world peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family in Evansville, Indiana.
Chuck was born May 24, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late: Robert E. Sutton & the late: Patricia I. (nee: Wescott) Sutton. He grew up in Lombard, Illinois where he developed a strong work ethic, a deep love for vintage cars and the need for speed at a young age. After graduating High School he went on to work on cars and doing a multitude of jobs mostly involving construction. He became a successful entrepreneur and opened his tattoo studio, Wolfman’s Tattoo Studio in Lockport, Il and purchased Road Sounds in Crest Hill, Il. Tattooing, working on cars, his motorcycle, and building things with his hands were definitely some of his top passions. He joyfully shared these passions with his biggest passion, his children and grandchildren.
Chuck was a loving husband to Ilena M. Julian for the bulk of their marriage. He was a pillar of strength, love and support for his family. Together they raised three beautiful daughters: Samantha, Myranda & Moriah. He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, support, love, fun and laughter. This often extended to the friends of his daughters in the community. Making their home & the tattoo studio open to many friends that just needed a safe haven, known to them as “bonus children”.
Chuck was an organ donor and was able to help save a life in the end. He was a hero to his daughters when they were little and left this earth a hero with his selfless choice.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held in Illinois when the weather is warmer.
Chuck is survived by his ex-wife, Ilena Julian; his 3 daughters: Samantha Havelka (Josh), Myranda Twiddy & Moriah Sutton; His 9 grandchildren: J.T. Peters (Bri), Skyler Peters, Summer Webb (Riley), Abi Twiddy, Hayden Parnum, Eli Twiddy, Blake Parnum,
Abel Twiddy and Izzy Kurtyak; His great-grandson: Stevie Peters.
