On the morning of February 24, 2026, Judith Lee (Robertson) Shelton, 76, went to meet her Lord & Savior peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 25, 1949, in Evansville, to Imogene (Conner) Alysworth and Eugene Robertson, and was a lifelong resident of Boonville, Indiana
Judi was married to R. Keith Shelton and the loving mother to Jennifer Anderson (Tommy). She was a proud and adoring Nana to Jeffrey Seaton and wife Shila Seaton, Jessica Donahoo, Seth Anderson, and Lucas Anderson, and a deeply devoted Nana to her great-grandchildren Kalem, Ben, Jaxon, Rylan, Waylon, and Tyler Seaton. She is also survived by her brother, Jon Robertson (Julie), and her nephew, Andrew Robertson.
Judi worked most of her life with Keith at Shelton Insurance, and later retired after working at Walmart in Boonville, where she continued to build friendships and touch lives with her kindness and warm spirit.
A faithful member of Baker Chapel United Methodist Church, Judi lived her faith through service. She spent many hours working behind the scenes supporting local Special Olympics programs and participated in mission trips with New York Says Thank You alongside her church family, helping rebuild communities after natural disasters. She found joy in serving others and giving quietly of herself wherever there was a need.
Judi will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her quick sense of humor, and her steady, compassionate heart. Above all else, she will be remembered for her immeasurable love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Being “Nana” was her greatest joy and the role she treasured most. They were the light of her life and the very center of her world. She celebrated every milestone, cherished every visit, and poured her whole heart into every hug, laugh, and memory they shared. Her pride in them was unmistakable, and her love for them was boundless. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, laughter, and a family who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all from Compassus hospice, with a special thank you to Erika Duckworth and Gracie Roberts for all you’ve done these last months.
A celebration of Judi’s life will be held Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Memorial contributions may be made in Judi’s honor to Baker Chapel United Methodist Church or to Special Olympics Indiana Warrick County.
