Jon Briggs, 60, of Tell City , passed away on February 11, 2026, at his home. He was born on April 13, 1965, in Muncie to Gerald and Margaret “Maggie” Briggs.
Jon was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved attending auctions and flea markets, always on the lookout for a unique find to add to his collection. He enjoyed playing pool, going on cruises, and especially cherished hunting and fishing with his children. One of his greatest joys was watching his children play sports and cheering them on from the sidelines.
For many years, Jon worked alongside his father and son at Jerry’s and 602 Video Store, where he built lasting relationships and created many memories with family and friends through his work.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie, and his brother, Jeff.
Jon is survived by his children, Justin, Lacey, and Cameron; his father, Jerry; his sister, Holly; and his nephew, Nick. He will be remembered for his carefree spirit and the many stories and laughter he shared.
There are no official services planned.
